Bushiroad And Eighting Officially Reveal ‘Hunter x Hunter Nen X Impact’ Fighting Game
Bushiroad Games, in collaboration with Eighting (known for DNF Duel), has officially unveiled the title and a promotional video for their upcoming fighting game based on Yoshihiro Togashi’s popular manga, Hunter X Hunter. The game is aptly named “Hunter X Hunter Nen x Impact.”
Dueling Gon and Killua in Team Battle
In the featured video, iconic characters Gon and Killua engage in a duel, but with a twist. Killua suggests moving beyond a normal fight, opting instead for a team battle, adding an intriguing dynamic to the gameplay.
Togashi’s Manga Legacy
Yoshihiro Togashi introduced Hunter X Hunter in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in 1998. The manga has since become a cultural phenomenon, inspiring two television anime series, two anime films, various original video anime titles, and even stage plays.
Recent Developments in the Manga
Despite the manga’s immense success, Togashi announced a hiatus in January 2023 due to health issues. Chapter 401 was completed in March, but the return to serialization remains uncertain. Shueisha has affirmed a departure from the weekly serialized format, with further details to be disclosed once finalized.
Bushiroad Games Label
Bushiroad, recognizing the growing popularity of gaming, launched its Bushiroad Games label in January 2023. The collaboration with Eighting on the Hunter X Hunter Nen x Impact fighting game signifies the company’s expansion into the gaming industry.
