Jennifer Lopez And Josh Duhamel Fight Over Nuptials Gone Bad In ‘Shotgun Wedding’ Trailer

Jennifer Lopez is getting married again, this time in a film, and it will be nowhere near as perfect as her real-life ceremony with Ben Affleck.

In the newly released trailer for Shotgun Wedding, Lopez and Josh Duhamel play a couple named Darcy and Tom who are preparing for their big wedding day. Despite quirky mother-in-law Jennifer Coolidge’s strange “something borrowed” gift and Darcy’s ex, played by Lenny Kravitz, unexpectedly showing up at the event via helicopter, things appear to be going smoothly at first.

As she prepares to walk down the aisle, Darcy notices that “something doesn’t feel quite right.” She is proven correct when the wedding guests are ambushed and taken hostage by gunmen in masks. Darcy and Tom then embark on a perilous journey through a tropical jungle to save their wedding party while handcuffed together. Talk about “til death do us part.”

Lopez, who shared the trailer on Twitter, captioned the post with the hashtag #LiterallySaveTheDay and the release date of Shotgun Wedding. The film also stars Sônia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan, D’Arcy Carden, Callie Hernandez, Desmin Borges, Steve Coulter, and Alberto Isaac, in addition to Lopez, Coolidge, Kravitz, and Duhamel.
