Anita Baker Performs The National Anthem During The NFC Championship Game

Anita Baker sang the national anthem before the Eagles-49ers NFC championship game on Sunday (Jan. 29).
“Thank you for this personal invitation, @Eagles. My birthday weekend is unparalleled and filled with JOY to sing for you!” Baker, who turned 65 on January 26, said after her performance in a tweet.
Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles had already expressed his admiration for Baker’s music, stating that he’d be listening to it on a journey home in December. Baker appeared content to retweet an interview clip.
The singer will embark on her first tour in 28 years in February, with 15 gigs scheduled throughout the year. The first concert will take place on February 11 in Hollywood, Florida.
