Bebe Rexha Joins ITZY’s Yeji And Ryujin For A Surprise Performance Of ‘Break My Heart Myself’ At KCON 2022
On Saturday (Aug. 20), Bebe Rexha made her KCON debut, joining ITZY members Yeji and Ryujin for a special performance of her 2021 song “Break My Heart Myself.”
The thrilling collaboration occurred during the opening concert of America’s largest K-pop festival, which will be held this year at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena. Rexha strutted onto the stage during ITZY’s set and performed the ultra-personal track alongside Yeji and Ryujin, drawing thunderous applause from the packed audience.

ITZY’s Yeji and Ryujin unleashed a mesmerising dance performance to “Break My Heart Myself,” the opening track from Rexha’s 2021 album, Better Mistakes, which details her mental health and experiences with bipolar disorder, in early June. The cover quickly piqued Rexha’s interest, and a remix of the song featuring new verses from Yeji and Ryujin was released in late July.
ITZY and Bebe Rexha both shared backstage photos from the KCON 2022 concert on Saturday. “It was an honour to perform ‘Break My Heart Myself’ with the super lovely Bebe at KCON!” ITZY posted a tweet. “It was a memorable moment.” Rexha also celebrated the collaboration by posting a photo of herself cuddling up with the K-pop stars. She captioned her tweet, “Before the show with my girls.”
The three-day event, which began on August 19, brings together all aspects of K-culture with full days of panels, workshops, activities, and more, with the concert capping off the final two nights. This year also marks the 10-year anniversary of the festival.
P1Harmony, WJSN, NCT DREAM, THE BOYZ, LOONA, TO1, STAYC, and NMIXX will perform at KCON 2022 on Sunday.
