BLACKPINK has proven to be an unstoppable force in the music industry, with eight songs on the Hot 100. Their most recent single, “Pink Venom,” recently surpassed all other female artists’ single-day Spotify streams in 2022.

In 2020, the girl band set three records with their music video for “How You Like That.” In one day, the video received over 86 million views, making it the most viewed music video on YouTube and the most viewed music video by a K-pop group.
Because of their celebrity and infectious music, they’ve amassed a devoted following of “Blinks,” many of whom are celebrities. Taylor Swift was seen dancing and singing along with the girls at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, and Lizzo made sure to get a selfie with the superstar group.

BLACKPINK performed “Pink Venom” at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, and Taylor Swift was seen singing along and swaying hips to the music while holding a drink.

The Special singer approached Lisa and Jisoo for a cute TikTok video on behalf of a fan who wrote, “TAKE A SELFIE WITH BLACKPINK FOR ME!!!! PLEASE.” While fans can’t hear what the K-pop idols and Lizzo are saying because the latter’s new single “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)” is playing over top of the video, the trio is seen smiling, and Lizzo assures her followers in the caption, “THEY ARE SO SWEET.”

Gomez’s collaboration with Blackpink on “Ice Cream,” a song set to be released in 2020, demonstrates her admiration for the girl group.
