Britney Spears Dons Glasses And Declares Herself The “Nerd Of The Century”

Britney Spears has something to say. The “Hold Me Closer” singer revealed on Tuesday (Dec. 26) that when she’s not online posting suggestive photos, she’s a huge geek.

“I try to be sexy and s-t on Instagram, but those of you who really know me…. ‘Nerd of the Century,'” the pop star captioned a photo of herself wearing glasses and thumbs up, followed by a series of nerd with glasses emojis to emphasise her point. “But hey, I think I did it!!!!” Well, not really…. or maybe I did!!!”

The glasses photo served as a break from Spears’ NSFW Instagram posts, the most recent of which arrived on December 20 with the caption “Instagram doesn’t like posts of people revealing their bodies anymore.” Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari, admitted that he is not a fan of the images, but previously defended her decision to post them and stated that he dislikes seeing her bullied on social media for the posts.

“The only person in the world who gets bullied for posting things like this,” the 28-year-old actor wrote in an Instagram comment on Dec. 16, which he also reposted to his Stories. “I personally would have preferred she never posted these, but who am I to control someone who has spent most of her life under a microscope and under control?”
