Cardi B’s Hilarious Hot Takes on Season 5 of ‘The Crown’: ‘Camilla Thinks She Slick’

Cardi B is clearly invested in The Crown. The superstar took to social media on Thursday (Dec. 7) to share her thoughts as she continued to binge Season 5 of the hit Netflix drama.

The majority of the rapper’s most popular takes were on the illicit romance between then-Prince Charles (Dominic West) and Camilla Parker Bowles (Olivia Williams), as well as the couple’s blatant manipulation of Princess Diana (played by Elizabeth Debicki) while they carried on their affair.

“What makes Charles think Diana should hang out with Camila?” THE F-K THE NERVE! “She misspelt Bowles’ name in one tweet, then added minutes later, “Camila think she’s slick sending congrats notes to Diana….I wish a b—h would” with an unimpressed emoji.

Cardi also shared some dating advice with her Twitter followers based on her reaction to the quasi-historical drama. “One thing I notice is that Camila treats Charles like s-t….Sooo ladies, if you want a man to chase you, act like THE CHASE, not the CHASING!” (For the record, Netflix referred to Season 5 as a “fictional dramatisation” in both the season trailer and the series description, but did not include a disclaimer at the top of each episode.)

The “Hot S-t” rapper first became interested in the new season of the royal drama last month, when she tweeted around Thanksgiving: “Watching The Crown just shows you that you can be the queen of England or the girl next door, we all got the same problems with men…stay safe.”
