David Guetta And Bebe Rexha Are ‘Ready’ To Return To The UK Charts.
David Guetta and Bebe Rexha want their UK chart crown back as soon as possible.
Guetta and Rexha’s “I’m Good (Blue)” (via Parlophone) had its chances at No. 1 dashed last week when Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ “Unholy” (EMI) completed a late sprint to the finish line.
“I’m Good (Blue),” an interpolation of Eiffel 65’s “I’m Blue,” reclaims the top spot in the latest Official Chart Update, published Oct. 3, with “Unholy” dropping to No. 2.
Beyoncé’s “Cuff It” (Columbia/Parkwood Ent) is surging due to a new viral trend, according to the Official Charts Company, and is on track for its first top 10 appearance. On the midweek chart, the Renaissance song rises 16-9.
Ed Sheeran’s “Celestial” (Asylum), the theme song for the upcoming new Pokémon games Scarlet and Violet, has the highest new entry on the midweek survey. The track is scheduled to start at No. 17 and will give Sheeran his 57th top 40 hit in the United Kingdom.
Another homegrown favourite, Arctic Monkeys, is set to return to the charts. Alex Turner and company debut at No. 21 with “Body Paint” (Domino Recordings), the lead single from their upcoming seventh studio album, The Car, due out Oct. 21. “Body Paint,” the follow-up to “There’d Better Be A Mirrorball,” is expected to become the indie rockers’ 17th top 40 hit in the United Kingdom.
Finally, KSI’s surprise new release “Summer Is Over” (Atlantic) is hovering just outside the top 20, on track to debut at No. 22. The YouTuber and artist from London (real name Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji) has already had 16 top 40 singles, including eight top tens.
Everything will be revealed when the Official United Kingdom Albums Chart is released late Friday, local time.
