DJ Khaled Recruits Kanye West, Eminem, And Others For ‘God Did’: Stream It Right Now
DJ Khaled is on a roll right now.
God Did, the hip-hop star’s 13th studio album, was released at midnight on We the Best/Epic Records. It’s filled with A-list collaborations, from Drake to Kanye West and Future, R&B artists SZA and John Legend, Jamaican dancehall stars Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, and Sizzla, and a contribution from the late Juice WRLD, as is much of his catalogue.
The new project includes “Staying Alive,” a Drake and Lil Baby-assisted update on the Bee Gees’ disco classic. “Staying Alive,” the first single from God Did, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs and Streaming Songs charts, and peaked at No. 21 on the Official UK Singles Chart, his best performance in two years.
“It’s like, beyond incredible for me to get to a 13th album,” he told Billboard’s Carl Lamarre. “When I look up to the greats and see how many albums they put out, I know I’m on the right track.” And I know how difficult it is to make it in this business — some people never make it past their first single or album.”
Will God Did be DJ Khaled’s 13th lucky album?
