Fast X: The Final Installment Of The Fast Saga
Universal Pictures has released an excellent Fast X Twitter teaser. The tenth and presumably final installment of the Fast Saga will be released on May 19. The catchy trailer introduces viewers to two of the most talked-about new cast members for the hit action franchise, Jason Momoa and Brie Larson. Momoa is rumoured to play the son of Brazilian drug lord Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), who was gunned down by DSS Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) in Fast Five. Fast X, the first installment of a two-part finale, has many fans excited to see Momoa and Larson return to the franchise.
Larson’s portrayal of Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has wowed fans just as much as Momoa’s portrayal of Aquaman.
Momoa was cast as the film’s antagonist Dante by the Fast X production company in 2022.
Universal Pictures held a massive Fast X teaser reveal event in Los Angeles on Thursday. The Fast and the Furious franchise’s star and producer, Vin Diesel, stated at the event that the tenth installment would have the same or a more grounded street vibe than the original The Fast and the Furious from 2001.
You wished you could return to Los Angeles’s streets. So you missed racing and desired to return to it. In other words, you wanted to play with the vehicles that made this series famous in the first place. We are beyond grateful for your love and support; we truly feel like we are now a part of your family.” Vin Diesel was quoted by Comicbook as saying at the trailer’s premiere.
Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Jordana Brewster (Mia), and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Tony Jaa) will all make series returns in Fast X “Sung Kang, Tej Bridges, and Roman Bridges (Tyrese Gibson) form a trio (Han). The final installment of the long-running franchise will also star Jason Statham as the reformed Deckard Shaw, Nathalie Emmanuel as the hacker Ramsey, Cardi B as Leysa, Michael Rooker as Buddy, and Charlize Theron as the psychotic cyberterrorist Cipher.
Fast X is directed by Louis Leterrier, who also directed The Incredible Hulk. Leterrier is now in charge of the project, but original producer Justin Lin remains on board.
