Following Kanye West’s Anti-Semitic Posts, Jack Antonoff Fires Back.
Add Jack Antonoff to the growing list of musicians who will not remain silent in the face of Kanye West’s latest provocative actions. “Kanye a little b—h,” Antonoff tweeted on Sunday night (Oct. 9) with no further explanation for the slam aimed at the rapper, who has frequently clashed with Antonoff’s frequent collaborator Taylor Swift.
The remark came after West’s Instagram posts were removed for violating the platform’s policies after he posted text messages between himself and fellow rapper P. Diddy in which he claimed he would “show the Jews who told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”
Antonoff’s shot joins an increasing number of comments from artists and anti-hate groups condemning West’s latest anti-Semitic provocation. His remarks, which the Black-Jewish Entertainment Alliance called “hurtful, offensive, and wrong,” come after Ye made headlines last week by wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt to his Paris Fashion Week show; the Southern Poverty Law Center called the phrase, as well as an affiliated neo-Nazi group of the same name, a “racist response” to the Black Lives Matter movement.
