Geri Halliwell’s 50th Birthday Party Sees The Spice Girls Reunite (Without Mel B).
Friendship is eternal! Geri Halliwell’s 50th birthday was celebrated by four of the Spice Girls over the weekend.
In a video shot by David Beckham, his wife Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, and Mel C join Ginger Spice on the dance floor to sing and dance to their 1996 No. 1 song “Say You’ll Be There.”
“Special weekend celebrating Ginger, and even more special to catch this moment of the girls…
“@officialmelb you were missed,” the soccer star captioned the heartwarming video before giving a shout-out to the one absent member of the renowned girl group with a red heart emoji.
While Ginger Spice officially turned 50 in early August, their reunion also happened to coincide with the 25th anniversary of their sophomore album Spiceworld, which was released on Nov. 3, 1997.
Ahead of the anniversary, the girl group released a new version of their legendary “Say You’ll Be There” music video, complete with never-before-seen footage and a whole different look.
While the other Spice Girls are always trying to get Victoria to join them on a reunion tour, Posh Spice recently shown that the girl group’s repertoire is still her go-to for karaoke with an unexpected rendition of “Stop” while on vacation this summer.
