(G)I-DLE Announces ‘I Love,’ New Mini-Album Release Date
(G)I-DLE has returned, announcing on Wednesday (Sept. 14) that their highly anticipated fifth mini-album, I Love, will be released next month.
The group released a teaser for the release, which includes a 10-minute animation of a beating heart with sound effects before revealing the title of the mini-album.
“We believe that each group is unique in its own way.” For us, we believe that our music and music videos have a strong impact because we want to do something that accurately and truthfully expresses who we are.” (G) Following the release of their third EP, I Trust, I-Soyeon DLE’s told Billboard of the K-pop power players in 2020.
“Soyeon has been writing for us since our debut, and she knows each of our members extremely well,” Yuqi added. “She knows which parts are best for us. I believe we all have a high level of trust in her. And the songs are fantastic! So we simply follow her. When I first hear her songs, I think to myself, “Oh, this song is going to be on point.” [Laughs] The songs simply hit me. I never imagined a K-pop girl group could pull this off. I absolutely adore it. It’s my personal style, in my opinion. “Oh my god” is definitely my style; I adore it. I want to do it as soon as possible for our fans.
