Jenny Lewis Announces Cancellation of All Indoor Performances Due to COVID-19 Concerns
Jenny Lewis has cancelled all of her upcoming indoor tour dates owing to concerns about the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
“Jenny Lewis will not perform at any indoor venues for the remainder of the year due to the ongoing COVID situation,” her team tweeted on Friday (Aug. 12). As a result, the following indoor performances have been postponed.
Richmond, Virginia (17 September), Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (20 September), Asbury Park, New Jersey (23 September), Baltimore, Maryland (25 September), Saxaphaw, North Carolina (27 September), and Asheville, North Carolina (28 September). “Contact your point of purchase for refund details,” fans were told.
According to Lewis, Jenny and her band will continue to perform at Live On The Green, XPoNential Festival, Sound On Sounds Music & Arts Festival, Wildwood Revival, and Moonstone Festival.
On the Line, the singer-most songwriter’s recent album (and former frontwoman of Rilo Kiley), debuted at No. 34 on the Billboard 200 albums list in 2019.
