Justin sleeps with Hailey on his shoulder in the slightly hazy photograph, and they both smile for the camera. Oscar, the couple’s Yorkie, sleeps blissfully between their hands, nuzzling Justin’s face with his nose.

The Biebers have been married since September 2018, when they married in a private courthouse ceremony. Both partners faced serious health challenges over the next four years, revealing the true meaning of the expression “in sickness and in health.”

The pop star performed live for the first time since being forced to postpone the summer leg of his Justice tour due to facial paralysis caused by Ramsay Hunt syndrome a few days before the release of the new photo at Italy’s Lucca Festival. The “Love Yourself” singer revealed his issue for the first time in June, when he released an Instagram video revealing how half of his face was unable to blink, stretch, or grin while the other half could.

Hailey was there to support Justin when he returned to the stage at Lucca, as proved by images and a video uploaded by Justin after the performance. Similarly, the model, 25, claims her spouse was at her side in March while she suffered the repercussions of a “mini-stroke” that resulted in a minor blood clot in her brain.
