Matt Healy Of The 1975 Eats Raw Meat Onstage: Watch

While onstage at the 1975’s New York show, frontman Matty Healy served an unexpected snack: raw flesh. While playing at Madison Square Garden, the British singer brought out a chunk of red meat, generating quite a stir.

The concert was aired on Twitch as part of an Amazon Music UK event, so it wasn’t just New York viewers that got to see it.

The band is presently on tour in support of their fifth studio album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language, which was released last month. The event at Madison Square Garden is the tour’s third destination since it began on November 3 in Connecticut. The band’s North American tour will conclude on December 17 in Pittsburgh.
