Megadeth Has Released Their New Single ‘Soldier On!’

Megadeth released a new single called “Soldier On!” today (August 12), which you can listen to below.

Megadeth Will Come Up With New Album In September

Their new album, “The Sick…The Dying…And The Dead,” will be released on September 2nd, and this song is the album’s most recent single.

The first single from Megadeth ‘s upcoming album, “We’ll Be Back,” was just released. It’s their first album since lead singer Dave Mustaine recovered from throat cancer and resumed singing.

“I know I’ve got to soldier on / Watching mankind destroy itself / Walk straight into the mouth of hell / I know I’ve got to soldier on,” Dave Mustaine sings at the start of the song.

After hearing “The Sick, The Dying…And The Dead,” Mustaine stated, “This is the first record where every instrumental track is where it should be.” This is a watershed moment.” I can’t wait for everyone else to get their hands on this.

Mustaine’s home served as the location for the recording of their album The Sick, the Dying, and the Dead, which also features Kiko Loureiro on guitar, Dirk Verbeuren on drums, and Steve DiGiorgio on bass on a temporary basis. For the time being, Steve DiGiorgio is filling in on bass for Megadeth in place of David Ellefson, who was fired from the band last year after being accused of sexually harassing a minor on the internet. Kiko Loureiro and Dirk Verbeuren also appear on the album.

Ellefson has denied the allegations, claiming that he is “perfectly happy” and has “no resentment” over his dismissal from the company.

Former Megadeth bassist James LoMenzo has taken over the position on an indefinite basis.
