Sharon Osbourne Has Returned Home After A Medical Emergency
Sharon Osbourne has returned home after being hospitalised for a medical emergency on Friday (Dec. 16).
Jack, her son, announced the news on his Instagram Story on Saturday, thanking everyone for their “love and support” for his mother.
“She has been cleared by her medical team and is now at home,” Jack wrote. “As for what happened to my mother, I’ll leave that up to her to share when she’s ready.”
He explained that Sharon had the medical incident while filming The Osbournes: Night of Terror for the Travel Channel.
The Ventura County Fire Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that an EMS team responded to an emergency call at the Glen Tavern Inn on December 16 at 6:30 p.m., and that a patient was transported to Santa Paula Hospital. Don Aguilar, chief of police in Santa Paula, confirmed to THR that the patient was Osbourne.
Osbourne, 70, is a TV personality and music manager who has three children with her 40-year husband, rocker Ozzy Osbourne.
In November 2012, she revealed that she had undergone a double mastectomy due to her predisposition to breast cancer. Osbourne had colon cancer surgery in 2002, and her recovery was documented on the family’s MTV unscripted series, The Osbournes.
Osbourne left CBS’s The Talk after 11 seasons as a panellist in March 2021, following an on-air debate about racism and multiple accusations of racist comments.
