Sharon Osbourne Is “Doing Great” Following A Medical Emergency.
Sharon Osbourne has stated that she is “back home and doing great” following her hospitalisation and medical emergency last week.
Last Friday (December 16), the TV personality and Ozzy Osbourne’s wife was rushed to the hospital after she “fell ill” on the set of a new TV show she was filming.
Osbourne, who was released from the hospital on Sunday (December 18), has now shared an update in which she claims her condition is improving.
“Back home and doing great!” she captioned a photo of her Christmas tree at home on Instagram. “I appreciate all of your [love].”
Her post comes after son Jack wrote on Saturday (December 17): “She has been given the all-clear from her medical team and is now home. Thank you to everyone who has expressed love and support.
“As for what happened to my mother, I’ll leave that up to her to share when she’s ready.”
It’s unclear why Sharon was hospitalised at the time of writing; the 70-year-old hasn’t commented publicly on the incident (though she has been active on social media), and neither has Ozzy or either of her other two children. In his statement last night, Jack wrote that he will “will leave it to her to share about when she is ready”.
Sharon has a history of medical issues, having battled (and defeated) colon cancer in the early 2000s and undergoing a double mastectomy in 2012 after learning she was at a higher risk of breast cancer.
Jack shared a screenshot of a text he sent to a producer at the outlet in an Instagram Story after the story of Sharon’s hospitalisation was shared by TMZ, in which he wrote: “Try and contact me directly ever again and you’ll be the one ‘fainting,’ you desperate little cunt.”
