TWICE’s ‘Between 1&2 Album’ Is Now Available: Stream It Right Now
Are you prepared? TWICE’s highly anticipated new album, Between 1&2, was released this past Friday, August 26.
The album, which features members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, was released on Friday morning. The lead single from the album is called “Talk That Talk,” and its music video debuted alongside the album.
Chaeyoung and Jihyo wrote the songs “Basics” and “Trouble,” respectively. Dahyun is the author of several songs, including “Gone” and “When We Were Kids.” The album also includes the K-pop songs “Queen of Hearts,” “Brave,” and “Gone,” among others.
Jihyo tested positive for COVID-19, and TWICE’s management company, JYP Entertainment, made the news public two days ago. “The singer tested positive for COVID-19 [via] antigen testing at 10:30 a.m. after using a self-diagnosis kit and is currently quarantined, according to health department guidelines,” according to their official statement. JYP has also stated that they will “prioritise our artist’s health and make every effort to ensure her prompt and healthy recovery.” (The COVID-19 case in Jihyo was the collective’s fourth in 2022.)
TWICE’s follow-up to Formula of Love: O+T=3 will be titled Between 1&2 and will be released in November 2021. Following its release, the album spent eight weeks on the all-genre chart, reaching as high as third place.
