TWICE’s ‘Between 1&2 Album’ Is Now Available: Stream It Right Now
Are you ready RIGHT NOW? Between 1&2 was released on Friday (August 26) and is now streaming for fans.
The group, which consists of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, released the seven-track album early Friday morning. The single “Talk That Talk” is the album’s lead single, and it was accompanied by a music video on the album’s release date.
On the album, Chaeyoung is credited with writing “Basics,” while Jihyo is credited with writing “Trouble.” Dahyun is also responsible for the songs “Gone” and “When We Were Kids.” The songs “Queen of Hearts,” “Brave,” and “Gone” are also included on the K-pop album.
Only two days ago, TWICE’s management agency, JYP Entertainment, revealed that Jihyo tested positive for COVID-19. The singer tested positive “after using a] self-diagnosis kit at 10:30 a.m. and is currently quarantined, following the health department’s guidelines for COVID-19 antigen testing,” according to their official statement. JYP went on to say that they will “give priority to our artist’s health and make every effort to ensure her speedy and complete recovery.” (Jihyo’s COVID-19 case was the group’s fourth in 2022 on its own.)
Between 1&2 is the follow-up to TWICE’s Formula of Love: O+T=3, which will be released in November 2021. The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart and remained there for a total of eight weeks after its release.
