Will Bruce Springsteen Join Taylor Swift On Her Tour?
On Monday night (November 14), Bruce Springsteen appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and teased a possible appearance on Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour.
When host Jimmy Fallon ran through a number of rumours about The Boss and his career, the subject came up. “You’ll be on tour in 2023, and Taylor Swift will be on tour as well.” You and Jack Antonoff are both friends. “There’s a theory that the two of you…will occasionally appear on each other’s shows,” Fallon said.

“Well, I’ll be…
Because my daughter will make certain that I attend the Taylor Swift concert,” Springsteen joked. “So I know that,” he added. “And she’s always welcome on E Street.”
Springsteen also clarified whether Mary’s dress “waves” or “sways” in the lyrics to Born to Run opener “Thunder Road” during the rundown. “Which is it, the wave or the sway?” “All right, I knew you were going to ask this question,” the singer responded. As a result, I came prepared.”
At that point, Sprinsteen reached behind his seat and pulled out an original vinyl pressing of his breakthrough album from 1975. “This record is nearly fifty years old,” he explained. “Um…I was a sociopath fifty years ago.” I was obsessed with every detail related to music, including my album, album cover, and lyrics. I went over everything with a fine-tooth comb to ensure that everything was perfect and accurate.
“The correct lyrics to ‘Thunder Road’ are in this album,” Springsteen continued, holding up the well-worn vinyl sleeve. “I’ve been singing’sways’ for nearly 50 years.” He then paused with a dramatic flourish to reveal that the original lyric is “The screen door slams/ Mary’s dress waves.”
