Here Is Ronald Isley & Beyonce ‘S ‘Make Me Say It Again, Girl
Beyonce released a new album just two weeks after the release of Renaissance. “Make Me Say It Again, Girl,” a new duet by Ronald Isley & The Isley Brothers and Beyoncé, was released on Friday (Aug. 12).
“Make Me Say It Again, Girl,” a collaboration between the “Alien Superstar” singer and the music legend, is Ronald Isley’s first release of the year.
According to Billboard, Isley stated that “working with Beyoncé was one of the first things [he] thought about when putting together his new album.” Beyoncé and Isley “met and talked when she was just getting started with Destiny’s Child.”

Tina Knowles-Lawson, Beyoncé’s mother, was “very influential in getting this record started and getting it to where we are now,” Isley’s wife Kandy added. Her daughter was raised on Isley Brothers music, and she is a huge fan herself. Finally, all we can say is that God was involved in this endeavor.
The song “Make Me Say It Again, Girl,” originally titled “Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2),” appeared on The Isley Brothers’ 1975 album The Heat Is On. It was their first album to chart at number one on the Billboard 200. Beyoncé is covering “Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2)” in a duet with Ronald Isley, nearly 25 years after “Second Nature” opened Destiny’s Child’s self-titled debut album with a sample of the song.
