Arsenio Hall Sells 34-Acre Los Angeles Estate To Neighbor
According to public records, Arsenio Hall has sold his home in unincorporated Topanga, a small, historically hippie-dippie community nestled in the rugged mountains between Malibu and the San Fernando Valley.
The amount of $9 million is significant for Topanga, as evidenced by the transaction’s public documents. This is one of the largest compounds in the area, with over 34 acres and the main mansion measuring 10,000 square feet or more. After his eponymous late-night talk show went into syndication and made the Cleveland native extremely wealthy, Hall spent several years in the early 1990s building a custom estate before disappearing from public view in 1994.
The Hall estate remains shrouded in mystery because it has never been for sale. According to aerial views and tax records, the estate is made up of six adjoining parcels that border state-owned parkland, ensuring complete privacy. The house’s hilltop location offers breathtaking views of the city below, the Pacific Ocean, and the surrounding mountains. There are two fenced-in entrances that lead to motor courts that can accommodate dozens of vehicles, and the entire complex is monitored by a slew of security cameras.
There are two other structures on the property, in addition to the main house, which is in a style similar to but not identical to Santa Fe. A pond with a pergola over it, putting greens, a playground, a full-size tennis court, grassy lawns, numerous hiking trails, and a tennis court are among the outdoor features.
According to public records, the new owner is Robert M. “Rob” Fedoris, a former executive at Guggenheim Partners, a financial services firm with $300 billion in assets under management. Fedora appears to be working as an executive for Franklin Monroe, a private family office that is a former affiliate of Guggenheim and is partly owned by Los Angeles Dodgers owner Mark Walter.
Fedoras and her partner Liz Hopkins have been living in a smaller Topanga home directly across the street from Hall’s since 2016, so they won’t have to travel far if they want to visit. The modern home sits on two acres and has 3,000 square feet of living space.
Hall purchased a modern Tarzana mansion from “NCIS” actor Sean Murray a year ago, and he and his family have since downsized.
