Blake Shelton Gives Gwen Stefani And His Stepsons Priority In The ‘New Phase Of My Life
Blake Shelton’s wedding to Gwen Stefani was the happiest day of his life.
In an exclusive interview with ET, the country music star admitted that his new wife and two stepsons may force him to put his career on hold for a while. I enjoy my job and all of the cool things I get to do, but they all take a back seat now to Gwen and the kids, and it’s just a new phase of my life, he explained. “Look, I like music and I watch The Voice.
“I’m having fun putting out songs when I feel like it,” he continued. When I make a “God’s Country” or “Happy Anywhere” video because of my “stupid ideas” of making a country video in the style of the ’90s, as the author puts it, they’re always down for it.

Stefani has three children with Gavin Rossdale: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. After 13 years of marriage and nearly six years of dating, the couple divorced in 2015. Shelton and Stefani married in 2021 and have been together ever since. “I love my stepfather, and he’s like a father to me,” Shelton previously stated on KFROG’s The Ride with Kimo & Heather, “so I have a good inspiration in my life for how to do this and the kind of stepdad I want to be.” “I’m not going to lie; it’s a lot of fun for me.” Not that I take anything too seriously, but after five years of doing this together, I can appreciate it for what it is. I can’t imagine my life without these kids right now.
