Chrissy Teigen Has A Baby, And John Legend Is There To Welcome The New Child
Best wishes for the new year! A representative has confirmed to Billboard that Chrissy Teigen gave birth and welcomed a new kid with husband John Legend on Friday (January 13).
People was the first publication to report on the singer-happy songwriter’s announcement, which took place during a private concert that evening. According to the publication, Legend told those in attendance, “what a great day today is.” The winner of 12 Grammy Awards also mentioned that he felt “charged” following the birth of his child, despite the fact that he had spent a lot of time at the hospital and hadn’t had much sleep in the days leading up to the event.
On Twitter, the birth of the baby was also announced by some of the audience members who had attended the private concert. Someone tweeted, “@johnlegend just told us that he had a kid this morning #congratulations,” and another used the hashtag.
The parents-to-be have not disclosed any other information about their new child as of yet.
After the author of the cookbook experienced a miscarriage in September of 2020, the happy occasion of the birth of Legend and Teigen’s new child has now arrived. The model disclosed at the time that they had miscarried their son Jack at 20 weeks due to complications during their pregnancy. Later, when asked for additional information, she revealed that she and her partner had discovered that Jack “would not live,” and that neither of them would if they did not receive medical treatment. “Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion,” the celebrity stated during Proper Daley’s “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” symposium in September. “Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion.” “I had an abortion to save my life for a baby who had no chance at all,” the woman said. Teigen shared with the audience that at the time, the knowledge that she was having an abortion was shocking to her.
She announced to her fans in February 2022 that she was receiving IVF treatment in hopes to conceive again, but she requested that they refrain from making any remarks regarding whether or not she was pregnant.
“To be perfectly honest, I don’t mind the shots… They make me feel like a scientist or a physician… I know it’s said with excited and good intentions, but it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant!” she wrote at the time. “But the bloating is a bi—, so I humbly beg you to stop asking if I’m pregnant because while I know it’s said with excited and good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant.”
Teigen broke the news to her followers on Instagram that she was expecting a child in the beginning of August 2022 by posting a series of baby belly mirror photos. She captioned the photo with the following: “To say the least, the previous few years have been a jumble of emotions, but joy has filled our house and hearts again.” “After 1 billion shots (most recently in the leg, as you can see! ), we have another one coming your way. Every time I have an appointment, I tell myself, “Okay, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce.” However, after I hear a heartbeat, I let out a sigh of relief and then realise that I’m still too anxious to make the announcement. I don’t think I’ll ever leave an appointment with more excitement than nerves, but thus far, everything has been great and lovely, and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves. Ok, phew, it’s been a lot of work to keep this to myself for such a long time!
