Eliza Rose Unseats LF System Atop The UK Singles Chart.

Eliza Rose’s “B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)” (via Warner Records) tops the UK singles chart for the sixth week, ending LF System’s two-month reign.

Rose’s viral hit with Interplanetary Criminal jumps 2-1 on the Official UK Singles Chart, knocking LF System’s summer smash “Afraid to Feel” (Warner Records) to No. 2 and ending its eight-week reign.

According to the OCC, “B.O.T.A.” has accumulated a market-leading 4.8 million streams in the most recent cycle, gaining traction throughout festival season.

“Hold Me Closer” (EMI/RCA), a collaboration between Elton John and Britney Spears, is the top new entry on the current chart. This week, it debuted at No. 3 and was the most downloaded song in the United Kingdom.

Despite missing out on the top spot, “Hold Me Closer” becomes Elton’s fourth Top 5 single in a row. It’s Britney’s first single since 2016 and her highest charting single since “Scream & Shout” with Will. In 2012, I.Am topped the poll.

“Hold Me Closer” soared to the top of Australia’s singles chart last Friday.

This week, a second new entry enters the top ten in the United Kingdom. “I’m Good (Blue)” by David Guetta and Bebe Rexha (via Parlophone) debuts at No. 7, boosted by a viral 2017 demo of the song. It is her first top-ten finish in five years. Guetta’s most recent top-tier entry, “Crazy What Love Can Do,” peaked at No. 5 in April.

Australian DJ and producer Luude finally has a second top 10 single with “Big City Life” (Warner Records), his dance music collaboration with Mattafix. It is the follow-up to “Down Under,” by Luude and Colin Hay of Men at Work, which reached No. 5 earlier this year. “Big City Life” rises 11-10 in its tenth week on the chart.
