Jack White, Sam Fender, And Others Scheduled For New Australian Harvest Rock Festival
Jack White, the Black Crowes, Groove Armada, and Sam Fender will all perform at Adelaide, Australia’s new Harvest Rock festival, which will take place over two days at two different venues.
The inaugural two-day Secret Sounds festival will feature performances by Khruangbin, The Lumineers, Kurt Vile, and a slew of Australian acts including Crowded House, Tones And I, The Avalanches, Courtney Barnett, Angus & Julia Stone, The Teskey Brothers, and many more.
Secret Sounds, the festival and touring specialists behind Splendour In The Grass in Byron Bay and the touring Falls Festival, has added Harvest Rock to its portfolio.
Adelaide, one of Australia’s five major cities, has a population of about 1.3 million people and a renowned wine, food, and arts culture. Adelaide, on the other hand, frequently misses out on major tours due to its proximity to the major east coast cities, the most populous of which are Sydney and Melbourne.
Harvest Rock and other projects in this fertile soil area are attempting to change this.
In addition, an LN-affiliated venue with seating for 1,600 will open later this year on Hindley Street in central Adelaide.
Secret Sounds, LN, Five Four Entertainment, and the owners of Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall and The Triffid have raised approximately A$6 million to build Hindley Street, Music Hall.
Both the 2022 AIR Awards and the Indie-Con industry convention were recently held in Adelaide, Australia, a UNESCO City of Music.
