Jennifer Hudson Displays Her EGOT Collection Following Her Tony In The Mailed

Jennifer Hudson has joined the EGOT club, an exclusive group of people who have won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards.

On Friday (August 26), the star received the final EGOT award, which she shared on Instagram. “Look what arrived yal!!!” she captioned a photo of herself holding her Tony award. Her other three trophies were on display next to her on the piano.

Hudson received a Tony Award in June for her work as a producer on the winning musical A Strange Loop. Her other honours include an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress (for Dreamgirls in 2006), two Grammy Awards (for Jennifer Hudson in 2008 and for The Color Purple in 2016), and an Oscar.

Wow !!! “I am overwhelmed by all the love and support that I am still receiving and I am still processing this whole new territory,” Hudson wrote on Instagram after winning the Tony Award on June 14. What a privilege! Thank you for joining me on this adventure. I simply would not be able to function without you. “Look what God can do!” I exclaimed when I won the Academy Award. It’s as if he’s repeating himself: “He did it.”
