NewJeans Collaborates With Baby Shark And Pinkfong For Adorable ‘Ninimo’ Performance Video: Watch

Baby Shark and friends have collaborated with one of the most promising and fresh faces in K-pop.

Girl group NewJeans, Baby Shark, and Pinkfong released a new video in which they sing and dance to the catchy new song “Ninimo.”

The Pinkfong Company, the Korean educational entertainment company behind the massively popular “Baby Shark Dance,” which has over 11 billion views on YouTube, collaborated on the project.

NewJeans members Minji, Haerin, Danielle, Hanni, and Hyein appear in this new video wearing their signature baggy jeans and trendy T-shirts alongside the yellow Baby Shark, magenta fox Pinkfong, and other characters.

“We’re thrilled to announce the collaboration with NewJeans, one of the most notable K-pop rookies, bringing a unique and exclusive opportunity for fans all over the world to enjoy the songs and dances,” The Pinkfong Company said in a press release. “By collaborating with beloved K-pop artists, we hope to continuously engage fans of all ages, including Millennials and Generation Z, through the Dance Alive project.”

In their first international interview with Billboard, NewJeans expressed their desire to reach fans all over the world. “Because we just debuted, we’ve been focusing on promoting and performing in Korea, but I promise you that whenever the opportunity arises, we will jump on a plane and fly over to you all,” Hanni said. “Words cannot express how happy and grateful we are to our fans all over the world.”

Months after their release, NewJeans still has two tracks on the Billboard Global 200, “Hype Boy” at No. 74 and “Attention” at No. 121, both in their ninth week.
