Raphael Will Perform A Hit Medley With CNCO And Pablo Lopez At The 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Raphael was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday night (Sept. 29), where he also performed a medley of classic hits.

Raphael, known for anthemic songs such as “Yo Soy Aquel,” “En Carne Viva,” and “Mi Gran Noche,” has garnered worldwide recognition as a pioneer of Spanish-language romantic ballads over a musical career spanning more than 60 years. He began his professional career in 1962, winning first, second, and third place at Spain’s Festival Internacional de la Canción in Benidorm. He also performed at the Eurovision Song Contest twice in a row, appeared in several films, and hosted The Raphael Show on radio. He has released over 60 albums and sold over 70 million records to date. He’ll be releasing a new album at the end of the year.

Paquita la del Barrio, Armando Manzanero, Miguel Bosé, Los Temerarios, Intocable, José José, Marco Antonio Sols, Ricardo Arjona, and Maná are among those who have received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
