Megan Thee Stallion has returned with a new album after winning Coachella and earning a bachelor’s degree in health administration.
Traumazine, Megan’s second studio album, is the follow-up to her chart-topping debut, Good News. Good News reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and featured Billboard Hot 100 hits such as “Body” (No. 12), “Don’t Stop” (No. 30), “Shots Fired” (No. 82), and, of course, the Beyoncé-assisted “Savage (Remix)” (No. 1).

Megan officially announced the project’s release date on Thursday, after teasing it for several weeks on Instagram and Twitter (Aug. 11). The road to Traumazine was not easy. “I might as well…lol,” the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper explained on Twitter. “From my cover art, pieces of my track list, and even hearing a part of a song I haven’t dropped yet leaking (and we ALL know who the only ppl who had access to all these PRIVATE links are..)
“In a recent Twitter Q&A with her fans, the “Big Ole Freak” rapper explained, “I wrote this album for myself… I was going to start writing in a journal, but instead I decided to put it in a song.” “It took a lot of self-reflection to get to where I am now in my life,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “I’m hoping the hotties will get a better understanding of what’s going on in my head.”
Megan Thee Stallion’s new album features Future, Dua Lipa, Latto, Jhené Aiko, Lucky Daye, Key Glock, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Sauce Walka, Big Pokey, and Lil Keke. Megan’s 2022 singles are included, including three that charted on the Hot 100: “Sweetest Pie” (No. 15), “Plan B” (No. 29), and “Pressurelicious” (No. 55). OG Parker, Hitkidd, and Hitmaka also contributed to the production of Traumazine.
