Tanner Gallagher, Photographer For HARDY, Describes The “Terrifying” Bus Accident, Stating, “It Was A Miracle That We Survived.”
Tanner Gallagher, a photographer and videographer for the country band HARDY, has shared photos and recollections of the “terrifying” bus accident that forced the group to leave the road and seek medical treatment.
This seems to have occurred so quickly, but I feel compelled to discuss it publicly,” writes Gallagher.
We experienced one of the most terrifying accidents last week. Last Sunday at approximately 2:30 a.m., our bus veered off the highway at approximately 70 mph and flipped into the woods.
Four men were on the bus, including the driver (Ricky), the tour manager (Noah), Gallagher, and Hardy, who has written about his own experiences online. Gallagher adds, “Within what felt like three seconds, our bodies were flung across the room, knocking us all unconscious.” By God’s grace, we all survived.”
His remarks are accompanied by a photograph of Gallagher unconscious in a hospital, with blood caked on his forehead and left eye socket. “And yes, it’s been f***ing awful,” he acknowledges.
It will take him weeks, if not months, to recover normal functions. However, time out has afforded him the opportunity to reflect.
“Doctors told me numerous times that our survival was a miracle, which should make you think. It kills me to consider the times I’ve spent worrying, stressed, upset, being less present, or taking things for granted,” he continues.
I wish I could have spent more time with my family, friends, coworkers, etc., or made them feel better with something as simple and insignificant as a compliment. The fact that it’s so easy for us to lose sight of all that we have is the aspect of perspective that I consider most frequently. Take it from me, you should be grateful for EVERYTHING.”
He adds, “even if it means simply being healthy or waking up to spend another day doing the things you enjoy. As terrifying and life-threatening as this accident was, I’m relieved to have a brighter outlook going forward, as things can only get better from here.
HARDY, whose real name is Michael Wilson Hardy, has previously provided updates on his “significant injuries” and his crew’s well-being.
Gallagher’s recovery is a game of patience. He writes, “I’ll be confined to bed and a wheelchair for a while, and that’s okay.” “Therefore, if anyone wishes to deliver lunch or anything else, I will not stop you. Regarding this post, please inform Sarah Hardy that I apologise for using profanity.
At the time of publication, HARDY’s official website lists a series of live performances beginning in early December.
