AleXa Signs With UTA And Plans New EP After ‘American Song Contest’ Prize: Exclusive

AleXa has connected with new team members as well as new music months after breaking into American consciousness as the first-ever champion of the American Song Contest.

AleXa will continue to release music through ZB Label, a subsidiary recording label of the long-running Korean video and film production company Zanybros. “I’m looking forward to a new chapter in K-pop history as AleXa collaborates with one of the best agencies in the world,” says Kim Junhong, CEO of ZB Label. “I am confident that this collaboration between UTA and AleXa will develop into a new Hallyu axis in the global music market.”

Meanwhile, Max Michael, UTA’s head of Asian business development, sees the agreement as a means for more Korean content to reach a wider audience.

“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Korea’s leading music and entertainment company, Zanybros, and to begin working with the incredibly talented AleXa to help her global reach,” he says. “K-content is setting the standard for global content around the world, and both AleXa and the Zanybros are at the forefront of that impact.”

AleXa gave fans the first taste of her upcoming EP by performing unreleased tracks from the project at the first stop of her First Meet & Live Tour in the United States, which began on October 18 in Jersey City, New Jersey. The seven-city tour will next stop in San Juan on October 20, before concluding in Los Angeles on October 30.

Fans can expect AleXa’s new EP on November 10th, with more information, including a comeback trailer previewing the record, to be released very soon.
